We are officially in spring although it may not feel like it so much. While I love the spring time, the change in palettes, the longer days, the fun prints, it’s a tricky season to dress for. You have your warm days that you fully want to take advantage of after such a long winter, however, you also don’t want to over do it and become one of “those people”. I think we all know what I mean when I say those people, the people we have all seen on the subway, on that first warm day in shorts and sandals.

There are ways to enjoy the weather without seeming too desperate for some vitamin D. Some things I do are wear less (or lighter) layers, put aside the heavy coats or if I do choose to wear my coat, I’ll skip the sweater or scarf. Incorporating more color into your wardrobe so something that I feel happens naturally for me. However if you aren’t a person who feels as comfortable in brights then subtle hints of color in your accessories will make all the difference.

Nevertheless, whatever you choose to do to step out this spring, do it with confidence! Here are some looks I wore recently.
