I am not ready to let go of summer yet although the season doesn’t technically come to an end until mid September, you can already feel the bitter sweet close of the summer season near. With September comes the feeling of getting back to the grind which can bring anxiety but on the brighter note also hope/focus for new goals and getting back on track. For me this includes a new school year, new students, and getting back to into course work.

So before the beautiful chaos begins I am making the most of these open schedule days, visiting as many outdoor seating restaurants, eatting as much frozen deserts as possible (recommendations to come!) and wearing floral while we still have some in bloom. I decided to pair the Floral Dress with a waist belt slip on mules and a braid for a more casual city look. However I would also wear this with scrappy heels and a blow out for a more formal look.

Another floral look I wore recently was for a night out with the girls. I wore my Rag and Bone jeans which I snagged on sale with raw unfinished details a floral appliqué tulle t-shirt and new gold leaf straps sandals both from Zara. For both of these looks I opted for natural hair styles since I am still avoiding using heat on my hair (9 days to go for 30 days heat free).
