October is here and it’s starting to feel like Fall finally. It’s time for pumpkin spice, hot coco (although I can always drink hot coco) and cuddles!!! This time of year brings a lot of homey, cozy feels for me as well as anticipation for the holiday season. So this weekend when Steven and I took a walk across the Brooklyn Bridge this weekend I had the perfect soft fuzzy and comfortable look!
It was a great afternoon and a windy one! This has been the first weekend with temperatures dropping below 65 so we definitely felt the brisk chill, so if you choose to take a walk across I recommend wearing something warm.
Believe it or not this was the first time I walk the Brooklyn Bridge and I was actually raised in Brooklyn! We were among many tourists which tends to be the crowd near any iconic NY landmark. While we are both native New Yorkers we were right along all the visitors who were just appreciating the beauty,in awe of the construction, symmetry and powerful skyline views. It truly is an amazing sight. This is one of the many features of New York that New Yorkers take for granted commuting past in daily rush-hour, without a second thought. I myself very guilty of this as well, but with all the unfortunate events going on in our world it is a shame to not take a moment and reflect on the small beauties in life.
Don’t forget to slow down and enjoy life.Xo
